David Hornsby is the creator, executive producer and lead actor in the upcoming CBS comedy, "How to Be a Gentleman," based on the bestselling book series of the same name.
Currently, Hornsby is also an executive producer on the television comedy, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," where he has a recurring role. The series enters its seventh season later this year. He also voices the lead character on the Nickelodeon animated series, "Fanboy and Chum Chum," which is in its second season. Hornsby's television credits include a recurring role on "Six Feet Under" and guest starring roles on "The Unit," on the Network, "ER" and "Dirt." He also starred on Spike TV's faux reality series, "The Joe Schmo Show."
Hornsby starred in the 2008 Sundance Film Festival premiere of Paul Schneider's "Pretty Bird," opposite Paul Giamatti and Billy Crudup. His additional feature film credits include Clint Eastwood's "Flags of our Fathers," Steven Spielberg's "Minority Report," "Alien vs. Predator: Requiem," "Christmas with the Kranks" and "Pearl Harbor."
He was born in Newport News, Va., grew up in Houston and currently resides in Los Angeles.
