About The Performance
Silversun Pickups walked on stage at the Ed Sullivan Theater coolly and calmly, but as soon as they plugged in, any resemblance of calm and casual was gone as they tore into an almost hour long exercise in face melting. We didn’t do any official scientific testing with lab coats, clipboards, and stop watches, but there’s a good chance Silversun Pickups rocked Live on Letterman harder than anyone else ever has.
Silversun played mostly new material off
Neck of the Woods, only throwing one song off
Swoon and
Carnavaseach--relaxed, single spinners, whose songs include “Panic Switch†and “Lazy Eyeâ€. The crowd in the theater and online were all diehards and psyched to hear the new material live.
Watch the pride of Los Angeles rock New York with a rare gusto, as Silversun Pickups light up the Ed Sullivan Theater, Live on Letterman, presented by AT&T.
