Gary Clark Jr. was a double threat on "Help Wanted" (Episode 22, Season 2 of NCIS: New Orleans)—not as a villain, but playing a street musician. The guitar virtuoso displayed both musical and acting chops during the episode. He jammed with his hits "Don't Owe You A Thang" and "Church," and portrayed an eyewitness to a nefarious crime.
Known for rocketing out of the Austin music scene, Gary says that he was also influenced by a pair of New Orleans mainstays: Lonnie Johnson and The Meters. He also loves to perform in the Crescent City at Jazzfest and Preservation Jazz Hall.
