The Insider: Question and Answer

Editor's Note: Our Insider will remain anonymous. But he's definitely on the set daily and will be providing CBS.com with exclusive weekly content. Let's just say he's our undercover special agent.

INSIDER here! By now the season's fully under way and as promised, some questions have been answered and new ones have arisen. If any of you missed an episode and needs one or two blanks filled in, let me know.

In the meantime, say hello my new look. As of now, older entries and questions don't show up immediately but if you want to see them, just click MORE at the top of this page then scroll down and click OLDER POSTS. Also, these entries should appear on the NCIS: Los Angeles Facebook page as well. Feel free to leave comments or questions there, too.

Speaking of comments, Micheline requests that we "BRING BACK NATE". All I can say to that is be patient, Micheline. I can't guarantee anything but I wouldn't be surprised if he pops up in another episode or two. Also, a couple of you wanted to know what song we used for the end of DEADLINE, the fourth episode of the season. I asked around and as it turns out it was written and performed by Zac Brennan, the son of NCIS: Los Angeles creator and Executive Producer, Shane Brennan. The song is called "Long Lost". Lastly, Rosine wanted to know what the deal was with Monty and NPR. As you all know by now, Monty is the new official honorary member of the NCIS: Los Angeles team. I don't know how he acquired a taste for NPR but I'll ask the writer and get back to you on that. In the meantime, KEEP COMING BACK!
