Ducky in the Hospital

"Continuing the suspense was a great way to start of season 10. At the end of season 9, no one knew if Ducky or the NCIS team had survived. One of my favorite moments was when Ducky was in the hospital, removed his mask, and asked Palmer if everyone was all right, and all Jimmy could only tell him that he didn't know."

Dearly Departed

"The scene with Ziva coming through house, finding her father had been killed, and yelling "Abba" was incredibly powerful and moving. And the moment when Vance comes out into the hospital waiting room to tell Gibbs his wife hadn't made it was a shocking ending and a one-two-punch for fans who probably didn't think we'd lose two characters in the course of a few minutes."

Survival Mode

"Detour was one of my favorite episodes to date. There were a series of scenes in the forest where Ducky and Jimmy weren't talking about autopsies, crime scenes, or dead bodies, they were just trying to figure out how to work together to survive after being kidnapped. You got to see Ducky and Jimmy as friends who deeply cared about each other, not just as coworkers. It was the most fun scene work I've done in the 10 years I've been on NCIS."
