Star Trek: Discovery Announced As Name Of New Series

Hailing all frequencies! Today, Executive Producer Bryan Fuller revealed the official title for the new Star Trek series coming to CBS All Access: Star Trek: Discovery. Additionally, fans were treated to their very first look at the U.S.S. Discovery, an all new Starfleet ship for the franchise's long-awaited return.

The announcements were made at San Diego Comic-Con during Star Trek's 50th anniversary panel, which Fuller moderated. Stars from previous Trek series were on hand for the big reveal, including William Shatner, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Jeri Ryan, and Scott Bakula.
