We asked Tarzan some of the questions that YOU (the fans!) sent in via Facebook and Twitter! Find out what Tarzan had to say about his time in the game here!
Judy C.: Did you expect to get this far in the game? Last man standing?
Tarzan: No. I thought that I would be one of the first people eliminated because I tend to be authoritative and not everybody appreciates that. Because of that I thought I might be the first to go.
Michele L.: Tarzan: Do you think your wacky antics will affect your professional reputation as a physician?
Tarzan: No, because my professional behavior is consummate. I wear the mantle of the surgeon in the appropriate arena.
Ryan L.: Tarzan how did that nickname come to be..... whats the story behind that?
Tarzan: When I was about 8 my sobriquet became Tarzan because I had seen at 6 years old a movie entitled "Tarzan And His Mate" and I was smart enough to comprehend the essence of that movie. I admired the portrayal written of the character of Tarzan so I began to strengthen the upper muscles of my body thinking it would help me swing from trees as did Tarzan. By 8 years old I discovered a stretch of trees on an incline where I could climb them... from one tree to the next for about 60 feet. Once I became skilled I invited the elementary school kids to do this. At the end I called out the Tarzan cry and they all claimed me Tarzan. From there on I was known as Tarzan.
Andrew G.: If you could go back and do one thing differently, what would it be and why?
Tarzan: I would try to make the experience last longer. I was having a great time.
Alysha S.: How do you think your life experiences, and vast span of education helped you get to the top 6 with all women? Do you think it helped? Do you wish you used any other knowledge from your education and working experience?
Tarzan: I summoned all the powers of the vast knowledge I had acquired of the 64 years and used that knowledge effectively. In fact I deserve an academy award, please!
Caitlin S.: Tarzan, if you could've picked any two survivors from the whole game to go to the finally three with who would it of been?
Tarzan: On a purely chimerical basis, my favorites would have been Alicia and Troyzan.
Pam S.: Tarzan, if you were asked to be on Survivor again, would you? And would you play the game differently?
Tarzan: My wife has given me permission and having lived through it once I think she and I would handle our separation better. Such a game is mercurial and the player must be malleable and adaptive so only circumstance would determine how another game ought to be played.
