How To DVR The Good Wife

Posted on Oct 26, 2011 08:00am

From time to time The Good Wife is delayed because of sporting events on CBS that sometimes run over their regularly scheduled time. When that happens, CBS delays the schedule starting with 60 Minutes. Make sure you get the entire program by setting your DVR to record a two hour block rather than just one hour. That way, if The Good Wife is delayed 20 or 30 minutes, you will still get the whole show.

There are many different kinds of DVRs and depending on your DVR model and service provider the menu names may vary slightly. Here are some general tips:

To record The Good Wife from your DVR program guide

Go to your Guide and choose The Good Wife, which is on Sundays 9/8c. Click Record, Season Pass or Series Link. Choose Recording Options or Record With These Settings and extend the recording time by 1 hour.

To change an existing Season Pass or Series Link for The Good Wife

Select Manage Recordings or Season Pass Manager. Select The Good Wife from your list of programs, then change your Recording Options or Record With These Settings to extend the recording time by 1 hour. Be sure The Good Wife and all your favorite CBS shows are at the top of your list so you never miss an episode.

Setting your DVR to never miss your favorite CBS shows is easy. You're now all set to enjoy The Good Wife!
