When does the show tape?

Our NEW YORK shows tape Monday May 12th at 2:00 PM and 4:15 PM, Tuesday May 13that 11:15 AM and 2:00 PM, and Wednesday May 14th at 10:30 AM. All times are Eastern Standard Time.

Where is the studio?

We are located at the Chelsea Television Studios at 221 West 26th Street, New York, NY 10001, between 7th and 8th Avenue.

What if I applied but did not get a call?

If you did not get a call for your online ticket request, that means we are FULL for that taping. However, there is an opportunity for you to obtain a STANDBY ticket. To do so, please call (818) 655-8255 the day prior to the taping you would like to attend between the hours of 4:00-4:30 pm EST (no earlier), and for a Monday taping please call the Friday before. You must ALWAYS speak with a live Audience representative in order to request these tickets, therefore any voicemails left on our line will NOT be valid. Please note, multiple phone calls from the same party and the same names will be considered a double booking and will be disqualified.

How many times may I attend a taping?

You may attend one taping per week as a main ticket holder OR as a guest. When booking tickets, please make sure you and your guests' are not double booked within the same week. All reservations involved will have their tickets canceled without notification if the ticketholder and guest names appear more than once within the same calendar week. As a result, please make sure you and your party communicate before applying for tickets to a taping. To attend more than one taping during a calendar week, you may apply through our stand-by policy (see above).

What if I need more than 4 tickets?

The maximum amount of tickets per party is 4. If you need group accommodations, unfortunately we will NOT be accepting group submissions for our NY tapings.

Can I take photos?

Studio policy does not permit the taking of any photographs. Cameras will NOT be permitted into the studio and cell phones with cameras must be completely turned off prior to entering studio. We ask you that you do not bring a camera as we are not responsible for stolen or damaged items.

How long is the taping?

Our taping is a live show and usually lasts about an hour. Please be aware that this time does not include the security check-in process or travel to studio. Please allow ample time to remain at the taping as additional segments or promos may occur after the taping.

How much are the tickets?

Studio tickets are free to anyone 18 years of age and older.

Where should I stay?

There are many hotels in the New York and surrounding areas. We suggest using an online source to find accommodations that best suits you.

What if my show has been rescheduled?

Show times and dates are subject to change at any time. "The Talk" does not reimburse for travel/hotel expenses due to show cancellations or being turned away due to studio being at capacity. Tickets have no cash value, are non-transferable and may not be auctioned or sold.

What can I expect from the check-in line?

Seating is guaranteed ONLY until the arrival time stated in your confirmation e-mail. Due to the nature of the show, there will be NO HOLDING SPACES IN LINE -- ONLY COMPLETED PARTIES WILL BE CHECKED IN. Studio may be at capacity before the actual call time, so make sure you and your completed party are checked in BEFORE your assigned arrival time. Arriving after your arrival time automatically places you and your party on a STANDBY basis and your seats are no longer guaranteed. Please be aware there may be some substantial standing in line before entering the studio and going through security. For security purposes we require that the main ticket holder (person who made the reservation) be present to attend the taping.

What if I have special needs?

We are committed to making THE TALK equally accessible to persons with disabilities. If you or anyone in your party has special needs and requires assistance to attend the show, please let us know when an audience representative calls to book your tickets or before the show date. We provide accessible seating (including companion seating) and other accommodations at all tapings to persons with disabilities.

The availability of accessible seating cannot be assured if the number of audience members requiring accessible seating on any given taping day exceeds the allotted number of seats. Accordingly, accessible seating may be reserved prior to the taping date by calling at (818) 655-8255. Reservations for accessible seating will be held and guaranteed until the scheduled arrival time.

If you do not arrive by the scheduled arrival time, we can no longer hold your reservation for accessible seating and you will be placed on standby status. Any remaining, unreserved accessible seating will be available only on a first-come, first-served basis and may be released after prior accessible reservations have been accommodated to standby guests who do not require such seating. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you reserve accessible seating in advance when you speak with an audience representative to ensure your reservation. Please note that accessibility seating generally fills quickly. Disabled guests with service animals should call at (818) 655-8255 before the taping date to ensure sufficient space for the service animal. Assistive listening devices are also available for all tapings.

Where do I park?

While the studio does not have a designated parking lot, there are many other garages and subway / public transportation stops near the area. We suggest using an online source to find a solution that best suits your needs.

Can I ask for an autograph?

We ask that you respect the performers' privacy and kindly refrain from requesting autographs at any time.

What time does the show air?

"The Talk" is taped live before a studio audience, and airs from 2pm-3pm Eastern Time, and 1pm-2pm Pacific Time. Please check your local listings for viewing options.
