Basketball legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson came to "The Talk" to promote his HIV awareness campaign "Make Knowing Your Thing Today." After winning the NCAA championship as a sophomore at Michigan State, Magic became the first overall pick in the 1979 NBA draft and went on to one of the greatest careers in NBA history, winning five championships with the Lakers. In 1991, he announced he had tested positive for HIV and retired from the NBA. He has since become a successful businessman, CEO and Chairman of Magic Johnson Enterprises, philanthropist, and advocate for safe sex and HIV/AIDS awareness.
