Air Date: 02/10/17
Eric Braeden, who plays patriarch Victor Newman on "The Young and the Restless," released a new autobiography, "I'll Be Damned," and reveals stories about his life before starring on the #1 daytime drama. On being born during World War II, he shares, "The hospital I was born in was bombed to smithereens the day after... The city I was born in was 95% destroyed... war is very, very dangerous thing." He also recalls advice he received from one-time co-star Marlon Brando after he moved to America and started acting, "He and I used to throw the football around... we talked a lot about politics. He said 'You're too bright. You shouldn't be an actor...' He had a very ambivalence towards Hollywood, he didn't like it in many ways. Kind of a tragic figure."
