Billy Miller joined the cast of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS in September 2008.
Miller was raised in the Dallas suburb of Grand Prairie, Texas and attended the University of Texas, Austin where he received a degree from the school’s prestigious film department. Shortly after graduation, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career behind the scenes in entertainment and landed a job in the mailroom of a prolific production/management company. Encouraged by a friend to pursue a career as an actor, Miller, having a bit of the bug already from experience in classes at UT and Austin’s State Theatre, enrolled in more intense acting classes and began to alter his path.
It wasn’t long before Miller landed representation and his first primetime job in an episode of “CSI: NY,” on the Network. In September 2007, he was cast as “Richie Novak” on “All My Children.” He joined THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS in 2008.
He won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2010 and received an additional nomination the following year.
Miller’s additional television credits include “Justified,” a recurring role on “Ringer” and the Lifetime movie “Fatal Honeymoon.”
Miller resides in Los Angeles with his loveable dog, Jones. He supports Texas Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital, where he was once a patient. His birth date is September 17.
