Tuesday, May 1, 2012: Avery is shocked when Victor offers her Michael’s job. Michael arrives at Victor’s office and asks to be re-hired. Victor states that Michael is no longer needed at Newman Enterprises. Later, Michael encourages Avery to take his old job. Jill helps Michael and Lauren move into the Chancellor Mansion. Michael confesses that Victor fired him, and Lauren realizes it was because he was busy dealing with her arrest. Later, Lauren tries to convince Victor to change his mind about firing Michael. When he refuses, she resigns from her position on the Newman board. Jeffrey secretly asks Kevin to help him cook the books at Gloworm, but Kevin angrily refuses. Carmine arrives to apply for a job as bartender and Gloria hires him. Later, Jeff learns that Carmine has experience with handling the books. Jack admits to Abby that Diane is posthumously succeeding in keeping him away from Kyle. Jack informs her that Nikki is planning to leave town to give him time with Kyle. Abby advises him that Nikki’s plan is a little extreme. Meanwhile, Nikki approaches Kyle and apologizes for Diane’s death. Later, Jack tries to convince Nikki to stay in town. They agree to suspend their relationship and remain friends for a while. ...
