Monday, July 2, 2012: In the park, Nikki and Jack are celebrating Jack’s birthday as Victor and Sharon arrive. Victor gives Jack a hard time about celebrating while Abby is missing. Ashley is emotional as she receives a phone call from Abby, who explains that she faked the kidnapping. Furious, Ashley orders her to return home immediately. At the coffeehouse, Victor complains to Sharon about Abby’s behavior. Sharon reminds him to be grateful that Abby wasn’t harmed, and he thanks her for supporting him. At the GCAC, Michael sadly informs Heather that her brother is dead. Heather wonders if Paul’s suspicions got out of control or if Ricky was actually dangerous. Paul stares into space as the police take away his gun and attempt to question him. He tries to answer, but is overcome with emotion. Ronan arrives and offers to do the interrogation. Paul explains that he shot Ricky to prevent him from killing Eden. Kevin arrives at the hospital as Eden is being examined by a doctor. She says that she can’t remember what happened in Ricky’s suite. Meanwhile, Lauren is freaked as Michael informs her that the gun Paul used was unregistered. Later, Paul goes missing and he visits Isabella at the psych ward. ...
