Wednesday, August 8, 2012: Billy is freaking out because he promised his viewers a scoop on Phyllis’s case when he doesn’t have any new information. Meanwhile, Phyllis calls Tim demanding to know if he told anything to Billy, but he does not answer. Phyllis begins formulating a plan. Billy reassures Victoria that he will not cross the line when it comes to the stories on the show. Phyllis arrives and asks Billy to stop leading the media attacks on her. Phyllis’s anxiety leads him to believe that she has something to hide. Neil and Harmony prepare for their date. Harmony calls Neil and they realize that they are at two different places. When they start their date, Neil and Harmony are doing their best to enjoy it, despite the awkward feeling. Neil and Harmony realize they are trying too hard to make their date perfect and decide to do something more casual. Sharon apologizes to Tucker for trying to kiss him. Nikki comes by and asks if Victor has come home yet. Sharon informs her that Victor is not her concern and that she should go back to her own husband. Later, Nick chastises Sharon for missing a business meeting and expects her to help keep Newman running while Victor is missing. Jack reveals to Cane that Ashley has left the company. Jack offers Cane more responsibilities now that Ashley is gone and gives him a promotion. ...
