Friday, October 19th, 2012: Victor informs Nick, Victoria, and Abby that he won’t be fighting for Newman Enterprises and he is leaving the fate of the company to them. Later, Nick and Nikki watch as the Ranch burns down. Nikki informs Nick that they need to prevent Victor from learning about the fire.
Billy informs his Restless Style TV producer that he wants to save the show. Victoria asks Billy to continue spying on Jack. Victoria explains that she is the only one who will be able to save her family’s company. Victoria gets a phone call from Nick and learns about the fire at the ranch.
Phyllis informs Avery she plans to reconnect with Summer by winning Nick back. Avery tries to be supportive, but it is complicated because of her feelings. Later, Avery tries to comfort Nick. They play chess and Avery reveals fun stories about her adolescence. They stare at each other for a moment and want to kiss, but ultimately don’t. Meanwhile, Phyllis enters the Athletic Club
Chelsea paces in frustration and calls Adam, but he doesn’t answer. Meanwhile, Sharon gets overwhelmed by the smoke from the fire at the Newman Ranch and Adam saves Sharon. Later, Adam encourages Sharon to get some sleep and watches the fire in the distance. Adam leaves her a note asking her not to do anything until she talks to him first. Adam wakes up Chelsea and she questions him smelling like smoke. ...
