Tuesday, December 4th, 2012: Leslie shares her concerns about working with Neil because of their history. Neil playfully informs Leslie he will fire her if they are overcome with the urge to date. Leslie happily signs the contract as Neil welcomes her to Jabot. Devon suggests that loosening things up a bit could improve workplace morale.
Lauren informs Fen that she and Michael have noticed that he’s been acting differently. Michael and Lauren invite Jamie over for dinner so he can meet Fen; Jamie says they don’t get along. Fen apologizes to Jamie for overreacting when he saw him and Summer together.
Phyllis reveals to Nick that Summer has not been in class for days. They argue and Phyllis questions where Summer is spending her time. They continue to bicker as Summer walks in. Summer blasts them for what their family has become.
Phyllis explains to Summer why she didn’t have the best relationship with her parents and thinks that history might be repeating itself. Summer admits she wants to go somewhere where nobody knows about her and her family. Phyllis explains to Summer that the way she has been treating her has been cruel. Summer breaks down crying.
Noah learns that Nick is thinking about buying a nightclub. Noah suggests a few ideas and asks Nick what is holding him back from jumping in. Later, Phyllis informs Nick that she saw Sharon with Noah on Thanksgiving. Nick confronts Noah about Sharon being back in town. ...
