What is the Dome's purpose, and what does it want from the inhabitants? The new season of Under the Dome starts on June 25, and it will deal with those very questions. The two-hour premiere will air at 9/8c, then the show will move to its normal time at 10/9c on July 2. Also this season, Emmy winner Marg Helgenberger will guest star.

If you haven't been keeping up with Under the Dome, you still have time to get caught up. Based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel, Under the Dome tells the story of a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. It was last summer's most watched (11.32 million viewers) and highest-rated scripted program with adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

The show is part of an amazing new summer lineup. Starting July 2, it will follow the massive event that is Big Brother, which will premiere on Thursday, June 25 at 9/8c.

Be sure and also check out Extant, a serialized mystery thriller starring Academy Award winner Halle Berry, whose sophomore season debuts Wednesday, July 1 at 10/9c.

The new addition to the CBS Summer slate is Zoo, a drama based on the #1 bestselling novel by James Patterson. In the series, a wave of violent animal attacks against humans begin taking place across the globe. As the assaults become more cunning, coordinated and ferocious, a young renegade biologist (James Wolk) is thrust into the race to unlock the pandemic’s mystery before there’s no place left for people to hide.

Zoo premieres Tuesday, June 30 at 9/8c!
