After flawlessly floating around Puerto Rico last year, Victoria’s Secret is bringing back their Swim Special, which will feature their signature Angels frolicking around St. Barths in the one-hour event set to air on Wednesday, March 9 at 9/8c.
For its second year, this splashy special follow these heavenly beauties in the French West Indies and capture everything from their first steps on the exotic island to the fun that ensues while shooting the VS swimwear campaign. The Victoria’s Secret Swim Special will also feature music performances by pop superstars Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas.
Fans can look forward to appearances by Angels like Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribiero, Lily Aldridge, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell, Taylor Hill, and Vita Sidorkina, who will share what it's really like to shoot the hottest swim catalogue this side of the equator.
Joining the Angel clan will be Demi, one of pop's most beloved artists. In addition to heating up the charts, the "Cool For The Summer" singer is also an accomplished actress, philanthropist, and best-selling author. Since 2008, Demi has released five studio albums, four of which were Certified Gold, and eight Platinum singles, including hits like "Really Don’t Care" and "Skyscraper." As if that weren't impressive enough, her latest LP, Confident, hit #1 on iTunes in 37 countries within mere hours of release.
Not only is Demi a budding music icon, but she's also a positive role model who uses her own personal struggles as a way to inspire and empower others, so it's no wonder this Texas native has amassed over 33 million Twitter followers, 31 million Instagram followers, and 37 million fans on Facebook.
Rocking out alongside Demi will be Nick Jonas, a former child entertainer who evolved from tween heartthrob to Hollywood heavyweight. As one-third of the wildly popular Jonas Brothers, Nick struck out on his own in 2014 with the debut of his first self-titled solo album, which featured smash singles like "Jealous" and "Chains."
These days, in addition to racking up chart-topping hits, Nick also flexes his acting muscles by appearing in a variety of TV series. Plus, in 2016, he's set to star in two feature films, Careful What You Wish For and Goat, which is being produced by James Franco.
Catch Demi and Nick perform during the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Swim Special before they set out together on the Future Now World Tour, which starts later this year.
