MICHAEL WEATHERLY, 44, has been a fixture on the CBS hit NCIS since its debut in 2003. Already the father of a 16-year-old son, Weatherly welcomed a new daughter, Olivia, with his wife, Bojana Jankovic, in April. His other "children," Oriana and Quantum (above), make up the furry side of the family. Juggling a busy shooting schedule and time with his tribe is no easy feat, but Weatherly knows a few mood-boosting tricks (they're better than coffee!). --Michele Shapiro
"I have dogs and for the past two years, I've just been very into them. Walking them is such good exercise. Animals are the best!"
HAPPY MEAL TICKET
"I'm lucky. I love my job. That makes life a lot easier all the way around."
"After I turned 40, I realized that it wasn't as easy to get up in the mornings. So, I actually do a little bit of stretching while still in bed-much to my wife's annoyance sometimes!"
"I spend a minute before I get up to think about the day ahead. I find that if I just wake up, jump in the shower, shave, get in my car and get on the highway, and I haven't taken that moment to sort of soak it in and appreciate it, I always feel a little rushed and a little off. So that, to me, is the biggest part of getting up: slowing down!
I started taking fish oil when my wife was pregnant. She made me take it so I'd have the energy to get up at 2 a.m. and make her lasagna!
