6 Things That Make Vincent Rodriguez III Smile Simple pleasures that bring Crazy-Ex Girlfriend’s Vincent Rodriguez III joy.

1. Morning sunshine.
One of the first things I do when I wake up is go to the living room and open the blinds so I can see and feel the sun shine on me.

2. Teaching.
Ever since I booked my first national tour in 2003, I always go back to where I formally trained as a teenager to teach master classes in the performing arts. I love being able to give back.

3. Billiards.
I don’t really like going to bars unless there’s karaoke or a pool table. There better be something else for me to do other than drink Tito’s and tonics!

4. Sushi and boba tea.
My love for these two things kind of started at the same time since my oldest sister introduced unagi sushi to me in high school. I was hooked.

5. Choreographed fight scenes.
I was a big martial arts fan as a kid. Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, The Matrix, any movie that had martial arts in it, I would want to watch.

6. ’50s clothes.
Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era. I’m a huge Gene Kelly fan, plus I just love that time period where things were simpler and people typically dressed up.
