HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KUNAL!

The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar is not just a Taurus—he’s a super Taurus! His sun is in the sign of the bull, but Mars, Mercury and Venus are there as well. Red-hot Mars turns up the volume on his energy, passion and ambition; brainy Mercury and beautiful Venus bestow a unique talent for communicating. Taurus rules the throat, and people with Mercury and Venus in this sign often have beautiful or distinct voices—and Nayyar is famous for his voice. His moon is in inspirational Pisces; this sun-moon combination unites the staying power, loyalty and drive of Taurus with a rich imagination, sensitivity and kindness.

Nayyar published his book, Yes, My Accent Is Real, in 2016—but his chart for 2017 shows there are more writing opportunities ahead. Neptune in Pisces brings a new vision. Mars, Mercury and Venus all return to Taurus this spring to help make it real. And generous Jupiter in Libra promises a year of good luck and grace.

TAURUS (April 20–May 20) Kunal Nayyar, The Big Bang Theory | April 30
Max and Caroline (2 Broke Girls) are not shy about promoting their business or themselves, and neither should you be. This is your birthday season; the sun enters your sign April 20, followed by the lavish Taurus new moon on April 26. From May 9 to 18 you’re golden; your bold moves will be rewarded, so ask for what you want!

GEMINI (May 21–June 21)Tristin Mays, MacGyver | June 10
Mars in Gemini from April 21 to June 3 gives you superpowers but also makes you somewhat confrontational. By May 10 you’re itching to quit your job, but unless you can retire like Kevin (Kevin Can Wait), you’d better reconsider. Your power time launches at the Gemini new moon on May 25; friends go all out to help you celebrate.

CANCER (June 22–July 22)Kristoff St. John, The Young and the Restless | July 15
Venus and Mercury both retrograde during April, giving you the chance to reexamine certain relationships as well as explore your own needs. As Dr. Bull (Bull) advised a client, “Give yourself what you can’t get from someone else.” The May 10 Scorpio full moon in your zone of self-expression initiates a period of rewarding creativity.

LEO (July 23–Aug. 22)Matt LeBlanc, Man With a Plan | July 25
Do you have a Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (or boyfriend)? With love goddess Venus retrograde in your intimate zone through April 15, he or she may reappear. Just make sure you resolve the old instead of repeating it. The sun and Mercury in money-magnet Taurus travel through your public zone in May. May 9 and 18 are superb for advancing your career and building wealth.

VIRGO (Aug. 23–Sept. 22)Marisa Ramirez, Blue Bloods | Sept. 15
Virgos are responsible folk, but if you’ve been overspending, then Mercury retrograde during April will give you a financial wake-up call. Thanks to a brilliant planetary alignment on May 18, you may be tapped for a prestigious position. It’s not without challenges, but don’t give up. As Frank Reagan (Blue Bloods) said, “Everything worthwhile has a personal cost.”

LIBRA (Sept. 23–Oct. 23)Christopher Jackson, Bull | Sept. 30
Libra is the ancient sign of marriage, so relationships are your lifeblood. Since your ruler, Venus, is retrograde through April 15, consider taking solo time and getting some much-needed perspective like Fiona did this season (Shameless). With Mars in curious Gemini from April 21 to June 4, you’re motivated to broaden your horizons through travel, culture and books.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24–Nov. 21)Sean Murray, NCIS | Nov. 15
April 11 is perfect for a romantic getaway with your sweetheart. Unlike Holmes and Watson (Elementary), you’re not a professional detective, but you’re a natural one. If someone tries to sell you something at the May 10 full moon and it doesn’t feel right, pass. Longing to change professions? The planets on May 18 could deliver that dream job.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22–Dec. 21)Rena Sofer, The Bold and the Beautiful | Dec. 2
The romantic Libra full moon on April 11 puts you in the mood to make a serious commitment. Just wait until Venus goes direct on April 15. If you’re hiding anything, like Happy and her secret marriage (Scorpion), it could be revealed at the May 10 full moon. Leave the intrigue to Ray Donovan; you need to take the high road.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22–Jan. 19)Jon Voight, Ray Donovan | Dec. 29
If you need a favor from an elder or authority figure, try sitting down with them on April 4, when your ruler, Saturn, moves forward. Something is brewing in the relationship department, and the big news arrives around May 9. It could be a new lover, a proposal or, perhaps, like Howard and Bernadette, (The Big Bang Theory), a baby.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20–Feb. 18)Maura Tierney, The Affair | Feb. 3
We’d all like to have former FBI agent Jack Dalton (MacGyver) watching our backs. Well, on April 5 a loyal friend helps you out of a tough situation. You have an opportunity to “pay it forward” on April 17. The May 25 new moon brings some interesting new acquaintances into your life; one is as free-spirited as you.

PISCES (Feb. 19–March 20)Judd Hirsch, Superior Donuts | March 15
Lovely Venus slips into Pisces during April, so be prepared to step into the spotlight. You may want to invest in a makeover or new wardrobe. Just don’t splurge on May 19; Jupiter could tempt you to overspend. Late May a family member may need your support. Like Christy and Bonnie did last season (Mom), don’t hesitate to help.

ARIES (March 21–April 19)Adam Rodriguez, Criminal Minds | April 2
The April 10 Libra full moon, accompanied by lucky Jupiter, brings you a great love or makes your current one sweeter. Like MacGyver, you’re impulsive, and, just like Mac, your plan B usually involves improvising. That works sometimes, but not on May 9, when disruptive Uranus collides with high-speed Mercury. For once, you need to pace yourself.
