Bruce Springsteen has won seven awards in the past and is nominated for five awards this year: Album of the Year, Best Rock Album, Best Male Rock Vocal Performance, Best Rock Song and Song of the Year for "The Rising." Norah Jones earned five nominations: Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Record of the Year and Album of the Year.

Nelly and Kelly Rowland are nominated in one of the Grammy's newest categories, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Dilemma." Nelly also earned four additional nominations in the top categories of Best Rap Album, Best Male Rap Solo Vocal Performance, Record of the Year and Album of the Year.

Faith Hill, a three-time Grammy Award-winner, is nominated in the Best Female Country Vocal Performance category for "Cry." Coldplay won a Grammy award last year for Best Alternative Music Album for Parachutes and are nominated once again this year in that category for their new album A Rush of Blood to the Head. They are also nominated for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for "In My Place."
