The greatest stars of the music world gathered on Sunday, February 8, 2004 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for the recording industry's most prestigious awards ceremony. The 46th Annual Grammy® Awards featured live performances by Christina Aguilera, Sting and Sean Paul, Martina McBride, The Black Eyed Peas and The White Stripes, as well as a first-time ever funk performance by OutKast, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Earth, Wind & Fire and Robert Randolph & The Family Band. In addition, Luther Vandross was honored in a special segment by Celine Dion, Alicia Keys and Richard Marx, who performed two of his greatest hits. Presenters Norah Jones, John Mayer, Pharrell Williams, Sean Astin and Amber Tamblyn helped make this musical celebration the best of the year, only on CBS!
