Tim Conway
Tim Conway is best known for "The Carol Burnett Show," an eleven-year stint that garnered him five Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe, and nostalgic memories for three generations of fans. Widely considered to be "the comedian's comedian," Conway's often-improvised humor, razor-sharp timing, and hilarious characters have made him one of the funniest and most authentic performers to grace the stage in the last forty years.
Conway's television career began as a regular performer on "The Steve Allen Show." From there he went on to play Ensign Charles Parker on "McHale's Navy" in the '60s and eventually landed "The Carol Burnett Show," first starring as a guest in 1967 and becoming a permanent fixture in 1975.
After "The Carol Burnett Show," Conway continued to expand his television credits to include "Married With Children," "Bill Cosby," "Mad About You," "Touched by an Angel," and "Coach," for which he won an Emmy in 1997. He continues to guest star on the CBS comedy "Yes, Dear."
Conway is an active member of several charities, including various drug abuse programs and the Spastic Children's Foundation. He's the co-founder of the Don MacBeth Memorial Jockey Fund to aid injured and disabled jockeys.
