Mira Sorvino won an Academy and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Woody Allen's 1995 feature film "Mighty Aphrodite.”
Her feature film credits also include "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion," "Mimic," "Summer of Sam," "The Replacement Killers" and "The Triumph of Love." She produced the acclaimed independent feature comedy "Lisa Picard is Famous," which had its debut as an official selection at the Cannes Film festival.
She earned Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award nominations for her performance in the television movie "Norma Jean and Marilyn," and was most recently seen in the mini-series "Human Trafficking."
