Ashley Judd stars as Libby Parsons, a woman who, while on a weekend boating retreat, awakens dazed, covered in blood and with her husband missing. Libby emerges as the prime suspect in her husband's murder, and is soon convicted and sent to prison. Pleading her innocence, Libby realizes she may have been framed. Six years later, she is paroled and with the help of her parole officer, Libby sets out to track down her son and her best friend who have disappeared, as well as find out the truth behind her husband's "murder."
