DAVID CUBITT (Noah Greeley)
Born in England to a Dutch mother and British father, David Cubitt was six months old when his family moved to Vancouver. While attending university, Cubitt worked on a cable music video show called "Night Vision," performing in comedic wrap-around segments. "It was the beginning of my love affair with acting," he says.
Cubitt studied acting full time until he was kicked out of theater school. Soon afterward, Cubitt scored a role as a rugby player in "Alive," starring Ethan Hawke and directed by Frank Marshall. He quickly landed one part after the next, including a role on the hit Canadian series "Traders," in which he starred for three and a half years. The show won the 1998 Gemini Award for Best Dramatic Series, and Cubitt won the 1997 Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role.
After landing a development deal with CBS, Cubitt moved to Los Angeles and landed a role in the CBS series "Michael Hayes," playing the brother of David Caruso's title character. Cubitt also had a recurring role on the CBS series "That's Life," and most recently starred with Tom Sizemore in the Michael Mann series "Robbery Homicide Division."
Cubitt first worked with Michael Mann in the critically acclaimed "Ali," based on the life of sports legend Muhammad Ali. Other film credits include "Swann," "I Shot A Man in Vegas," "K2," and the critically acclaimed "The Perfect Son," the story of two estranged brothers brought together by their father's death. For his performance, Cubitt was nominated for a Genie Award, and won the John Garfield Award for Best Actor at the Method Fest Film Festival.
For television, Cubitt starred in the series "E.N.G." and "The American Embassy," and has had guest-starring roles on "The Outer Limits," "Poltergeist: The Legacy," "The X-Files" and "Lonesome Dove: The Series." His other credits include the telefilms "Major Crime," "Keeping the Promise," and "A Killer Among Friends."
Cubitt lives in Los Angeles, but has a house in Vancouver where he visits frequently. He has played soccer his entire life, and enjoys tennis--which he played competitively in school--and squash.
