ANDY WOLK, DIRECTOR
Andy Wolk has written and directed many critically acclaimed movies including "Criminal Justice" (HBO,) "Deliberate Intent" (FX,) and "The Defenders" (Showtime.) He has been nominated for the Writers Guild Award three times and won it for "Natica Jackson," which starred Michelle Pfeiffer. He just received the Humanitas Prize for directing an episode of "The Practice."
He has directed many television movies, including "A Town Without Christmas" (the prequel to Finding John Christmas) and "The Christmas Shoes," which starred Rob Lowe. He has also directed for numerous television shows, including "The Practice," "The Sopranos," "Tales From The Crypt" and "Arliss."
MICHAEL J. MURRAY, WRITER
Over the past three years, Michael Murray has been writing a series of holiday films that began with "A Town Without Christmas," which aired on CBS in 2001 and 2002. Murray also served as supervising producer on both "A Town Without Christmas" and FINDING JOHN CHRISTMAS.
Originally from Chicago, Murray has penned the screenplays for over a dozen network and cable films, among them, "Michael Jordan: An American Hero," "Visitors of the Night," "Robin Cook's Acceptable Risk," and "The Menendez Murders." "Allagash," one of the best-documented stories of alien abduction in the U.S., awaits production at Showtime. Murray attended Northwestern University in film production and received his MFA in Professional Writing from USC. He lives in Pasadena, California, where he restores old houses and celebrates Christmas 365 days a year.
