Country music legend Johnny Cash will be celebrated in concert by artists who have been profoundly influenced by his unique style and songs. Musical superstars Sheryl Crow, Foo Fighters, Shooter Jennings & Jessi Colter, Norah Jones, Kid Rock, Alison Krauss, Kris Kristofferson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, U2 and Dwight Yoakam will perform such classics "I Walk the Line," "Sunday Morning Coming Down," the Johnny Cash/June Carter duet "Jackson," "I Still Miss Someone," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Guess Things Happen That Way" and "Home of the Blues."
Video clips of Cash's career and life will also be seen and interspersed with clips from the upcoming feature film about his life, "Walk the Line," starring Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon, which will be released on November 18. Phoenix and Witherspoon, as well as Dennis Quaid, are among the stars who will introduce the musical performances.
