Not one Robinson heir, in 10 generations, has made it past the age of 40 - it's the Robinson Family Curse…

Or so they say. Concerned that Jack's driving himself into an early grave, his doctor suggests he take some time off, meet a nice girl--shoot, just play one round of golf. But at "mid-thirty-something," the young magnate doesn't have time for curses, which he deems pure coincidence. Jack is in perfect health, and more worried about his 30,000 employees than about his love life or golf handicap.

When a beautiful and mysterious woman, going only by the name of Ondine, corners Jack in a restaurant, she alleges that the Robinson family empire is not built on the blood, sweat and tears of his ancestors, but on the feathery back of someone named…Gallaga? In an ominous tone, she warns that his time is almost up, and unless he rights the wrongs of his ancestors, he too shall suffer their fate. Confused and stunned, but nonetheless captivated, Jack is interested, but the young beauty vanishes as quickly as she appeared.

However, Jack has bigger problems on his hands: the latest project for Robinson Enterprises has run into a little "hiccup." It seems in digging the foundation for a new casino in Europe, the workmen have stumbled upon some enormous bones, and these babies don't belong to any T-Rex.

Unraveling the truth will lead Jack on the most spectacular adventure of his life, to a faraway land where Giants rule and wonders never cease. More importantly, however, the truth will lead him--and you--to believe in the possibility of the impossible!

CBS and the magical Jim Henson Company invite you to see for yourself on Sunday, December 2, 2001: If you thought you knew the story of the boy and his beanstalk,
