Jack Palance won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for his supporting role in the motion picture "City Slickers." He also received Academy Award nominations for his supporting roles in "Shane" and "Sudden Fear." His other feature film credits include "Cops & Robbersons," "High Country Justice," "Tango & Cash," "Batman" and "Bagdad Café."

Palance won an Emmy Award for Best Single Performance by an Actor in 1957 for his performance in a CBS "Playhouse 90" presentation of "Requiem for a Heavyweight." His other television credits include the CBS movies "Sarah, Plain and Tall: Winter's End" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas," as well as the mini-series "Buffalo Girls."
