Murrow reported that he suspected Nazi Germany was hiding the fact that Hitler more than simply vilified the Jews, but, rather, had designs on their destruction. He was thrown out of Berlin. Murrow pursued the story from London where he gave live reports of the German air raids on the British capitol. Later, his were the first descriptions the American people heard of the horrors of the Nazi concentration camps.
