Ben Stiller Hugh Grant Leah Remini Jerry Stiller
(voice of Vixen) Charismatic and talented as well as outspoken and unpretentious, Leah Remini continually captures the attention and praise of television audiences with her engaging and unique performances. Currently starring on the hit television series KING OF QUEENS, Remini brings her finely honed comedic skills to the role of Carrie Heffernan, a New York wife and legal secretary with as much compassion as she has sass. She stars opposite Kevin James and Jerry Stiller on the show, which airs Monday evenings on CBS. Remini will next be seen in "Old School," starring opposite Luke Wilson, Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn as Vince's wife in the romantic comedy. Born in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, Remini's family moved to Los Angeles when she was thirteen. The following year, although seemingly impossible for a fourteen-year-old to get work, Remini's confidence and resourcefulness led to a variety of full-time jobs, including cashier and telemarketer. Remini was selling car insurance -- even before she had her own driver's license -- when she was cast to star in the ABC Television series "Living Dolls." That comedy began a distinguished line of television work for the actress, including recurring roles on NBC TV's award winning "Cheers" as Sarafina, the rebellious daughter of Rhea Perlman and the CBS TV series "Evening Shade." She also had memorable appearances on such popular shows as "NYPD Blue" and "Friends." Prior to KING OF QUEENS, Remini starred in the NBC comedy series "Fired Up." |
