Jay O. Sanders is a prolific actor with over 80 feature films, television movies and series, and stage productions to his credit. He has performed on Broadway in "Loose Ends," "The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial," and the National Actors Theatre production of "Saint Joan."
Sanders' feature film credits include "Along Came A Spider," "Tumbleweeds," "Music Of The Heart," "The Confession," "The Matchmaker," "Kiss The Girls," "Daylight," "Angels In The Outfield," "The Big Green," and "JFK."
Among his television credits are the mini-series "Widows," "The Last Brickmaker In America," "Picnic," "The Prosecutors," and the cable features "The Familiar Stranger," "Hostages," "The Jack Bull," "For Richer Or Poorer," "Earthly Possessions," "Boss Of Bosses" and "Nobody's Children." Sanders has also guest-starred on such television series as "Roseanne," "Law & Order," "Northern Exposure," "Spencer For Hire," "Kate & Allie," and "Miami Vice."
Listed as one of Audiofile Magazine's 'Golden Voices', Sanders has narrated over 50 audiobooks for several different major publishers. A native of Austin, Texas, Sanders attended the acting conservatory at State University of New York at Purchase. He makes his home in New York City.
