Comic-Con 2016 To Feature The Big Bang Theory, Star Trek, And More Hit CBS Shows

Plus, take a ride on CBS' many themed electric cars!

CBS is rolling out in style for this year's San Diego Comic-Con.

Star Trek, The Big Bang Theory, and Scorpion will all be making their triumphant returns for panels at the event, alongside newcomers American Gothic and MacGyver. In addition to a centerpiece Star Trek panel with stars from multiple series (including William Shatner), the legendary franchise will have five additional panels over the course of the weekend.
A special "Fan Favorites" panel will include stars from several hit TV shows, including Criminal Minds, Criminal Minds: Beyond BordersNCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Zoo.
Expect to see new, exclusive videos at each panel.

 Meanwhile, you can catch a free ride in electric cars promoting The Late Late Show with James Corden, MacGyver, Kevin Can Wait, The Great Indoors, and Man With A Plan. That's not to mention CBS giveaways and collectibles for Star Trek, Scorpion, MacGyver, and The Great Indoors.

CBS will be kicking off Comic-Con with a three-hour block of panels on Thursday, July 21. The festivities begin at 12 PM PT and will feature Scorpion, American Gothic, and many others in a "Fan Favorites" panel.

Back by popular demand, Monday night’s top-rated drama series, Scorpion, returns to SDCC for the third year in a row with the stars and producers giving fans the intel on plots, story arcs and romances before anyone else. Fans can join series stars Elyes Gabel (World War Z), Robert Patrick (Terminator 2), Katharine McPhee (Smash), Eddie Kaye Thomas (American Pie), Jadyn Wong (Broken Trail), Ari Stidham (Huge) and executive producer Nicholas Wootton (subject to availability) for a panel discussion moderated by Patrick Gomez (@PatrickGomezLA) from People magazine.
A Scorpion signing with the cast will take place from 11:00-11:30 AM PT on Thursday at the Entertainment Earth booth (#2343).

Mac is back! The action-adventure drama, and hugely popular, MacGyver is coming back to CBS this fall in the reimagining of the classic series. MacGyver creates a clandestine organization within the U.S. government where he uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives. MacGyver and his team take on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip. In a move to drive even more viewers to "America's Most Watched Network," from Thursday, July 21 through Sunday, July 24, CBS will offer complimentary rides throughout the Gaslamp District in branded electric cars. Featured shows will include: The Late Late Show with James Corden, MacGyver, Kevin Can Wait, The Great Indoors and Man With A Plan. Trailers of the series will be screened for the passengers in those cars as well.
Brand ambassadors will distribute giveaways making their debut at Comic-Con, including the MacGyver "multi-tool" (with the hope of inspiring some clever "Macgyvering" around San Diego!), The Great Indoors "lounge chairs" (for when mobile phones are "resting" at home or in the office), collectible Scorpion button pins, CBS Comedy LOL-ipops and trading pins featuring the logo for the highly-anticipated CBS All Access Star Trek series.
CBS ACTIVITIES will again offer a window into CBS events, news, and action at Comic-Con. Coverage will include interviews with CBS stars in attendance and on-demand video coverage of the CBS series' panels as well as photos and editorial coverage from key Comic-Con and CBS events.
