The Harper House will follow an overconfident female head-of-a-household as she struggles to regain a higher status for herself, and for her family of oddballs. After losing her job, her and her brood move from the rich side to the poor side of an Arkansas small town. Then, to save money, they've moved into their inherited Victorian fixer-upper—the historic Harper House.

"It's the big animated family show for the 21st century with a fun fallible lady up front and a neurotic husband at home,” explained creator and Executive Producer Brad Neely. "[Fellow Executive Producer] Katie Krentz and I have been talking about this for years, and we know the folks at CBS Television Studios and CBS All Access get it. This will be crazy fun."

Tooning Out The News will provide short daily segments leading up to a weekly full episode featuring a cast of animated characters mocking news of the day, and interviewing real-world guests and newsmakers.

Julie McNamara, Executive Vice President for Original Content at CBS All Access, describes the program as an "innovative, comedic look at our culture of 'Breaking News' overload." The show has built the perfect team for the job, with Executive Producers Stephen Colbert and Chris Licht of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and RJ Fried and Tim Luecke from Showtime's Our Cartoon President.

The Untitled Richard Linklater Project is a 10-episode series that takes place in and around Austin, Texas—Linklater's hometown—and will provide a window onto the colorful and diverse world of animal rescue through moving, humorous, and powerful stories of animals and the humans who love them.

"I come to this project hoping to shine a light on the folks I’ve met who are making a difference every day in the lives of unwanted, abused, and disabled animals," said Linklater. "What strikes me most is the joy and discovery on both sides of the relationship between the animals and their human caregivers. These are inspirational stories that I believe will be a positive force in the world.”

In addition to Academy Award®-nominated filmmaker Linklater and two-time Academy Award® winner Bill Guttentag, the series is also Executive Produced by Dr. Phil McGraw and Jay McGraw of Stage 29, and Julia Eisenman. The co-executive producer of the series is Nayeema Raza.

These three new series join CBS All Access' growing slate of original series which currently includes The Good Fight, No Activity, Tell Me A Story, The Twilight Zone, Why Women Kill, and the forthcoming Interrogation, The Stand, and The Man Who Fell To Earth, with additional series soon to be announced.

CBS All Access is also the exclusive domestic home to Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Lower Decks, and the hotly anticipated Star Trek: Picard, featuring Sir Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which premieres on Thursday, Jan. 23.
