Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will return to co-host the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards.

This year’s show will mark Shelton’s fifth consecutive turn hosting the Awards and Bryan’s third time hosting the live televised event.

Blake Shelton received his fifth consecutive Male Vocalist of the Year nomination; he previously won the award in this category in 2012. He also received his fourth nomination in the Vocal Event of the Year category for “Lonely Tonight” with Ashley Monroe.

Luke Bryan earned his third consecutive Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year nomination; he previously won the Entertainer of the Year award at the 48th Academy of Country Music Awards in 2013. Bryan’s nominations also include Song of the Year for “Drink a Beer” and Vocal Event of the Year for “This Is How We Roll” with Florida Georgia Line.

The ACM Awards were held in Las Vegas for 12 years (since 2003.)

For the first time ever, the ACMs will be held at Cowboy Stadium.

Cowboy Stadium’s center video board is mounted 90 feet over the field and is 72 feet by 160 feet and weighs over 1.2 million pounds. It runs from 20-yard line to 20-yard line and it gives a 360-degree view of the action so guests never miss a play.

Carrie Underwood earned her 10th consecutive nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year.

She is also nominated for Video of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for “Somethin’ Bad” with Miranda Lambert.

Eric Church is nominated twice in the Song of the Year category.

Eric Church is nominated twice in the Song of the Year category, as the artist and songwriter, for “Give Me Back My Hometown.” He was previously nominated twice in the same category in 2012 as the artist and songwriter for “Springsteen.”

Church is also nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for The Outsiders.

Garth Brooks holds the record for most Entertainer of the Year wins with six.

George Strait is the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year.

Glen Campbell earned his 34th overall nomination with his nod for Video of the Year for “I’m Not Gonna Miss You.”

Even though it's his 34th nomination in the history of the Academy of Country Music Awards, it’s his first nomination in this category.

Reigning Male Vocalist of the Year, Jason Aldean received his fifth consecutive nomination for Male Vocalist of the Year.

If he wins, it would be his third consecutive win in this category. Aldean is also nominated for Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year for Old Boots, New Dirt.

Kacey Musgraves earned her third consecutive nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year.

This is her second consecutive nomination for Song of the Year as a songwriter and first as an artist in that category.

Merle Haggard was the first artist to win ACM Entertainer of the Year.

Miranda Lambert been nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year for nine consecutive years.

Garth Brooks is nominated for Entertainer of the Year, and currently holds the most number of wins in this category.

He has a total of six trophies, and if he wins this will be his seventh. He previously won the Entertainer of the Year Award consecutively in 1990-1993 (4) and in 1997-1998 (2).

Rascal Flatts has earned their 10th nomination for Vocal Group of the Year.

If they win, this will be their eighth trophy in this category. They are the current record holders for most wins in the Vocal Group of the Year category.

Kenny Chesney is nominated for four awards.

Chesney is nominated for Song of the Year, Video of the Year and twice in the Single Record of the Year category as an artist and producer for his hit song, “American Kids.” If he wins Video of the Year, it would be his first win in this category.

In 2012, KISS made a surprise guest appearance at the ACM Awards and presented Vocal Group of the Year award to Lady Antebellum.

Merle Haggard holds the record for most Male Vocalist of the Year wins at a grand total of six.

This is the fifth time that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have received a nomination for Vocal Event of the Year together.

Their songs “It's Your Love” and “Just To Hear You Say That You Love Me” won in this category the first two years it was ever presented, in 1998 and 1999, respectively.

Miranda Lambert is the most nominated artist this year.

With a total of eight, Lambert is the most nominated artist of the 2015 ACMs.

Lambert earned a total of eight nominations including Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, Single Record of the Year, and twice for Song of the Year as artist and songwriter for “Automatic.” Her nominations continue with Video of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for “Somethin’ Bad” with Carrie Underwood.
