Lindsay Mendez
Biography
Lindsay Mendez is an actress and singer perhaps best known for her work on Broadway, and she continues to find new opportunities that showcase her powerful voice.

Mendez received a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, as well as the Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical, for her performance as Carrie Pipperidge in the 2018 Broadway revival of Carousel. Mendez, along with her fellow cast members, also garnered a GRAMMY nomination for the cast recording of Carousel.

Her other Broadway credits include Significant Other, Wicked, in which she played the role of Elphaba with the 10th anniversary company, Godspell, Everyday Rapture, and Grease.

Her off-Broadway/regional credits include The Golden Apple at City Center Encores!, Dogfight, where she played "Rose Fenny," and was nominated for the Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance, as well as the Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical. Her additional theater credits include 21 Chump Street, The Rose Tattoo at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, 35mm and The Winter's Tale at the Delacorte Theatre.

On television, Mendez guest starred on the series Elementary and Murphy Brown, Modern Family, and Smash.

Her concert work includes appearances with Lincoln Center's American Songbook, the Kennedy Center, the Library of Congress, Lyrics and Lyricists, and the American Pops Orchestra. In 2012, she co-founded Actor Therapy, a training and mentorship program that she runs in New York City with composer Ryan Scott Oliver.
