Justin Chatwin has found success on both the big and small screen. On television, he is perhaps best known for his role as Jimmy/Steve on the critically-acclaimed drama series “Shameless.” His additional television credits include the BBC America’s hit series “Orphan Black,” playing savvy drug-dealer Jason Kellerman, and guest roles on the series “Lost” and “Weeds.” His starring role in the miniseries “Traffic,” directed by Stephen Hopkins, had Newsweek magazine single him out as an “Actor to Watch.” In the big screen arena, Chatwin wrapped production on the Dax Shepard directed feature “CHiPS,” with Michael Peña, Kristin Bell and Shepard, as well as four independent films: “The Scent of Rain & Lightning”; the quirky comedy “Unleashed,” opposite Kate Micucci, Steve Howey and Sean Astin; the romantic comedy “No Stranger Than Love,” with Alison Brie and Colin Hanks; and the independent drama “We Don’t Belong Here.” Chatwin will appear in the upcoming independent drug thriller “Urge,” opposite Pierce Brosnan and Ashley Green. Chatwin’s additional film credits include “Bang Bang Baby” with Jane Levy, “Funkytown,” “Dragonball,” John Stockwell’s romantic comedy “Middle of Nowhere,” with Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri, “The Invisible,” with Marcia Gay Harden, Steven Spielberg’s, “War of the Worlds,” the independent film “The Chumscubber,” and “Taking Lives,” with Angelina Jolie and Ethan Hawke. Chatwin was born and raised on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Currently, he divides his time between Los Angeles and Toronto. His birthday is October 31.
