18 Things We Learned from The Big Bang Theory Writers' Panel: Teasers, Songs, and Will Wheaton

The fans came out as usual in droves to check out The Big Bang Theory Writers' panel at Comic-Con. Check out the 18 things we learned.

1. Kate Micucci and Riki Lindhome have beautiful voices and do an amazing rendition of "If I Didn't Have You."

2. The show writers are uncomfortable with crowds and panel moderator Craig Ferguson thinks it's hilarious.

3. Show guest star Bob Newhart needed a crash course on Star Wars.
4. Speaking of Star Wars, James Earl Jones is delightful, and had never met Carrie Fisher until years after Star Wars.
5. Executive Producers Bill Prady and Steven Molaro got invited to Stephen Hawking's birthday party.
6. Show writer Eric Kaplan has the skinny on all the Eric Kaplans of the world.
7. The elevator may never get fixed.
8. Adding the characters Bernadette and Amy as series regulars wasn't part of the original plan.
9. There's a completely different version of the Sheldon and Amy kiss scene you've never seen.
10. The Sheldon and Amy relationship just works.
11. The writers spend a lot of time together... maybe more than you spend with your own family.
12. The show writers might not know as much about Comic-Con as they think!
13. The the movie trailer "Serial Ape-ist, Monkey See, Monkey Kill" does exist and IT. IS. AWESOME.
14. Will Wheaton is starting to be a lot like Will Wheaton.
15. Don't trust Sheldon's self-diagnosis.
16. The show will NOT go on without a comic book store.
17. If you want to grow emotionally as a person, look to a lady's influence.
18. You might never find out Penny's last name.
