Watch The Big Bang Theory EPs Gush Over How Nice Mark Hamill Is
Steven Molero and Steve Holland adored having the Star Wars actor guest star on The Big Bang Theory's Season 11 finale.
They say you should never meet your heroes. But that clearly isn't the case with Star Wars actor Mark Hamill, who recently guest starred on The Big Bang Theory Season 11 finale, where Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) finally tie the knot.
Hanging out at San Diego Comic-Con, TBBT Executive Producers Steve Molaro and Steve Holland expanded on how much fun they had meeting and working with the Star Wars legend.

"It was amazing," said Holland. "I've been a huge Star Wars fan my whole life, so to have Mark Hamill agree to do the show and to get to spend time with him was a dream. And he couldn't have been nicer. He was the sweetest person. He would take pictures, he would sign autographs, and he was genuinely funny on the show."
"He's aware of how much he and his character, Luke, mean to people," concurred Molaro. "He knows it's important, and if you're a fan, you'll have the interaction that you were hoping for."
Reach For The (Guest) Stars
Though it may feel like TBBT has had everyone under the sun visit the set at some point, Molaro and Holland name-dropped a few celebs they'd still love to get on the show, including: Harrison Ford, George Lucas, and Patrick Stewart. Make it so!
No Pressure, Or Anything
Speaking of ShAmy's wedding, the pair reflected on the pressure they felt to get the ceremony right. "We felt a lot of pressure to make that moment work and to give them the wedding that we felt they deserved, and that the fans felt they deserved," said Holland.
"But being there on set and seeing all of those people there together was amazing—to have Mark Hamill out there and to see Kathy Bates sitting behind you in a director's chair was a little surreal and great."
Will Raj Ever Find Love?
Now that most of the TBBT crew is paired up, you have to wonder: Will Raj (Kunal Nayyar) ever find his soulmate? "Yeah, we're always exploring," said Holland.
"I think Raj is the most romantic of the characters, he's the one who most wants love, and he's the one now who's not married. So I think it's always going to be a part of Raj's journey, and we talk about that a little bit in the first few episodes back where he really has to come to terms with the fact that everybody is married except for him."
