You Are Cordially Invited To Share In The Wedding Of Leonard And Penny
Celebrating Penny and Leonard's big day
After years of ups and downs Penny and Leonard finally said, "I do" after deciding to elope in Las Vegas. Here's a look inside their big day!
Picking their ceremony out of a brochure
Who needs a planner when you can simply choose your ceremony from package A, B or C—especially when one of them includes live-streaming!
Waiting for their names to be called
Leonard was given a coaster buzzer to let him know when it was the couple’s time to get hitched. While they waited, he suggested grabbing breakfast at the strip club next door. How romantic!
Taking important calls before the ceremony
Getting married means never having to worry about dating again, but that doesn't mean you don't have to worry about your friends dating—and potentially breaking up. For example, Leonard and Penny fielding calls from Sheldon and Amy is hardly something they want to do before walking down the aisle.
Meeting with the officiant
The details of the ceremony are extremely important: like whether or not rose petals strewn down the aisle were included in the wedding package.
Having friends watch the wedding via live stream
Eloping makes it difficult to plan a ceremony and reception with friends present. Thank goodness for the internet because there’s nothing that a little live stream can’t fix.
Last-minute decisions means last-minute vows. Leonard called on his science background to write something for Penny about being atoms created millions of years ago that were intended to come together now and forever. Meanwhile, Penny opted for a quote from Leonard’s favorite animated movie.
Showing off their wedding bands
Penny and Leonard excitedly display their rings on-camera to all their friends watching at home (or so they thought).
Showing off to no one
While Penny and Leonard are exchanging their vows, Amy decides to end things with Sheldon once and for all, leaving only Howard and Stuart to watch the big moment.
Being carried over the threshold
Just because Leonard doesn't have the most athletic build, that doesn't mean he's giving up on the tradition of carrying his bride over the threshold.
