Which CBS Character Should Amy Farrah Fowler Date?

Amy Farrah Fowler is on the prowl

Amy Farrah Fowler is on the prowl

Since her breakup with Sheldon, Amy appears open to dating again, as we saw in "The Helium Insufficiency" when she joined an online dating service.

While it remains to be seen if any of her virtual suitors will stick around for the long haul, we thought this would be a great time to play matchmaker for the neurobiologist and see if any other CBS characters might fit the potential boyfriend bill.

Angus Leighton (Code Black)

Angus Leighton (Code Black)

Angus is a former psychology major that’s currently in his residency at the hospital where his father is on the board.

His commitment to understanding human behavior is evident by the way he compassionately approaches both his patients and fellow residents. With Amy always looking to connect on a deeper level, Angus’ ability to communicate and his desire to put others before himself would make him a great match for her. Not to mention, they can both bond over all the gory medical stuff.

Watch Code Black on Wednesdays at 10/9c.
Daniel Krumitz (CSI: Cyber)

Daniel Krumitz (CSI: Cyber)

Daniel is an FBI Special Agent who is supposedly the best white-hat hacker in the world.

Though he tends to be more of an introvert, his technical genius, brutal honesty, and quick wit would create a good balance for Amy. The two could talk complex theories and maintain a strong, more lighthearted, banter. It's a win-win!

Watch CSI: Cyber on Sundays at 10/9c.
Dr. Max Bergman (Hawaii Five-0)

Dr. Max Bergman (Hawaii Five-0)

Dr. Max Bergman is the Chief Medical Examiner for both the Honolulu Police Department and the Hawaii Five-0 Task Force.

Like ex-boyfriend Sheldon Cooper, Max tends to interact awkwardly and doesn’t understand sarcasm all that well. However, his outgoing and organized nature means he’s always keen on setting up plans and outings. Translation: He’d always be up for a date night with Amy.

Watch Hawaii Five-0 on Fridays at 9/8c.
 Felix Unger (The Odd Couple)

Felix Unger (The Odd Couple)

Felix is both creative and analytical, as established by the fact that he's a photographer by trade, but a clean freak by nature.

Since his divorce, he's been wide open to suggestion on how to better himself, which has led him to trying new things like yoga. How evolved. While both he and Amy are coming off previous relationships, each could provide a firm set of shoulders for the other to lean on, which, as we all know, is the foundation of a great couple.

Harold Finch (Person of Interest)

Harold Finch (Person of Interest)

Harold has proven his incredible expertise with computer hacking and technological skills by creating a machine that helps to predict the behavior of criminals.

His many aliases and reclusive nature make him a man of mystery—something Amy could potentially find exciting after dating Sheldon, a very particular and methodical man. His exciting lifestyle combined with substantial resources could make for some pretty interesting dates for this May-December romance.

New episodes of Person of Interest are coming soon to CBS.
Toby Curtis (Scorpion)

Toby Curtis (Scorpion)

Dr. Tobias "Toby" Curtis is part of a genius think-tank that defends against high-tech threats. He’s known as a world-class shrink and is a Harvard-trained behaviorist, which gives him the ability to read people extremely well.

His drive to understand people would make him an ideal partner for Amy, who appears to be more than game to open up and explore uncharted territory with her new beau.

Watch Scorpion on Mondays at 9/8c.
Tim McGee (NCIS)

Tim McGee (NCIS)

Tim is an NCIS Special Agent assigned to the main NCIS Major Case Response Team in Washington, DC, and consistently proves he is exceptionally skilled both behind the computer and out on the scene.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Science degree in computer forensics from MIT. Like Amy, he was originally shy and and quiet, but has since improved his social skills, which would make him an equally confident and understanding partner.

Watch NCIS on Tuesdays at 8/7c.
Spencer Reid (Criminal Minds)

Spencer Reid (Criminal Minds)

Spencer is a genius with an IQ of 187 and the ability to read 20,000 words per minute. Plus, he possesses an eidetic memory, and has two BAs and three PhDs.

As the youngest member of the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit, he specializes in statistics and geographic profiling. Like Sheldon, Spencer is socially awkward and often misses obvious social cues. Not only would Amy know exactly how to handle his introverted idiosyncrasies, but she could potentially ease him away of his wallflower ways.

Watch Criminal Minds on Wednesdays at 9/8c.
Mitch Morgan (Zoo)

Mitch Morgan (Zoo)

Mitch is a veterinary pathologist and animal coroner. As someone who works with animals, his high level of intelligence helps him be more intuitive because, well, it's not like his patients can tell him what's wrong.

Though he's very intelligent, Mitch tends to keep his feelings to himself. He'd be hard-pressed to find a more trustworthy person than Amy, who has two beautiful non-pierced ears ready, willing, and able to listen.
