ICYMI: Most Watercooler-Worthy Moments from BB17, Ep. 5

1. Jace says his impending eviction is worse than Y2K.

1. Jace says his impending eviction is worse than Y2K.

The rest of the house might've seen it coming, but Jace was completely blindsided when James threw him on the chopping block for eviction—especially when the two of them just solidified their ironclad faux Cloud Town alliance.

Back in the Diary Room, the adventure junkie started recounting his days as a competitive skateboarder and surfer, saying how this situation is way scarier than any extreme sport.

But he said this gem: "Everybody was a afraid when Y2K was happening. This is worse."

[Scratches head.]
2. Audrey tells Jace the whole house plotted against him.

2. Audrey tells Jace the whole house plotted against him.

Once Jace was on the block, he decided to go around the house and rally votes in his favor. Some of the Houseguests appeared to sympathize with his situation and said they wouldn't boot him out, but you can't trust appearances, especially on Big Brother.

In a last ditch effort to appeal to James' soft side, he begged the HoH to save him from eviction. Visibly uncomfortable by the situation, James excused himself but that left Audrey with the perfect opportunity to come clean about how everyone in the house knew about the backdoor plan and totally supported it.

We're not totally sure why Audrey would decide to spill the beans to Jace, but, then again, her game play never ceases to amaze.
3. The Twin Twist is revealed—finally!

3. The Twin Twist is revealed—finally!

At last! After nearly two weeks of wondering whether our eyes were decieving us, we got to see how the BB Twin Twist worked! Can you tell Liz and Julia apart?

Someone who definitely couldn't was Jace. Dude practically fell off his stool when the symmetrical siblings were revealed.
4. Audrey and Austin cast unexpected votes.

4. Audrey and Austin cast unexpected votes.

After all the scheming and plotting to backdoor Jace, we were a little surprised by who Audrey and Austin voted to evict.

Audrey, who was chomping at the bit to get the surfing streaker out of the house, placed her vote for Jackie, who was really just supposed to be a pawn on the block.

Then you've got Austin, who's been involved in a pretty intense bromance with the pony-tailed personal trainer since Day 1—and that's exactly who he voted to evict.

Guess all's fair in love and Big Brother.

5. Kathy Griffin drops knowledge on her BB Takeover.

5. Kathy Griffin drops knowledge on her BB Takeover.

After hooking up with Zingbot last year in one of our favorite episodes, Kathy Griffin made a celebrated second Big Brother appearance during Thursday's show. And, this time, she's pulling the strings on her very own BB Takeover called "Power of the Last Laugh."

As Kathy explained to all of us watching at home, a telephone will magically appear inside the BB house and Kathy will use it to personally call the Houseguests throughout the week. Then, the person who answers the seventh call will receive the power to keep three people from voting at next week's live eviction.

You got all that?
6. Ladies sweep this week's HoH competition.

6. Ladies sweep this week's HoH competition.

Sisters were doin' it for themselves during this week's "Ginger Fever" competition, which resulted in Becky and Shelli snagging the coveted Head of Household distinction.

Will these ladies rule the house differently than their dude predecessors?

Find out during the next episode of Big Brother when we learn which four Houseguests get nominated for Battle of the Block. All the action goes down Sunday at 9/8c.
