Big Bang's Sheldon & Big Brother's Steve Are Basically Long Lost Brothers

They make prom look so fun.

1. They make prom look so fun.

After careful consideration, we've noticed nine eerie similarities between Sheldon Cooper (The Big Bang Theory) and Steve Moses (Big Brother) that could almost make these two lovable guys a pair of brothers from other mothers.

First off, let's look at how this dynamic duo handled prom. Sheldon had Amy and Steve had Jackie. For each guy's individual gala, we tip our hats to the gorgeous dates who brought out these guys' best styles, moves, and star qualities for a night full of slow dancing and epic cuteness.

We doubt Steve sorts his cereal numerically by fiber content, like Sheldon, but there's no doubt that both of these fellas make this hearty breakfast staple part of their daily morning regimen.
They clean up quite nice.

When Sheldon and Steve got makeovers in each of their shows, they both went from scientific to sizzlin'! Sheldon can thank Penny for his chic coif, and Steve—or, should we say, "Stefan"—owes Clay for his bomb blowout.

Watch out, ladies. These intellectuals are exuding nuclear levels of confidence.
They aren't afraid to grab the mic.

4. They aren't afraid to grab the mic.

On "The Toast Derivation" episode of The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon took the karaoke mic after geeking out with James Earl Jones over all things Darth Vadar.

However, no such sci-fi incentive was required for Steve to voluntarily answer some questions in the Big Brother backyard as part of the Houseguests fake podcast.
They show a little skin.

5. They show a little skin.

Sheldon stripped down to his skivvies when he fell victim to thievery in Arizona. And, well, Steve simply chose to lose the shirt for some well-needed pool time with his fellow Houseguests.
They have mastered the epic staredown.

If these two smarties are confronted, they aren't afraid to focus their eyes on the situation before them.

In other words, Sheldon and Steve may be social floaters, but they can get serious in a nanosecond.
They own the dance floor.

7. They own the dance floor.

Despite for being known as wallflowers more than social butterflies, Steve and Sheldon aren't shy when it comes to hitting the dance floor.

While Sheldon claims to be good at rumba, waltz, and cha cha, Steve looks like he's learning all the hip-hop moves thanks to Jackie, a professional dancer, who choreographed the pair's lil' number.
They can bang out a tune on the keyboard.

8. They can bang out a tune on the keyboard.

Sheldon might've depended on some liquid courage to bang out on the keys, but Steve's the real piano professional. He's an audio engineer, after all.
They are mesmerized by science.

9. They are mesmerized by science.

Sheldon's got his eye on a giant game of Jenga, and Steve's entranced by a structure he built.

Get these smart cookies in front of anything science-related and they go berzerk, which is a big reason why we love 'em!
