What We Learned From Lance Bass' Live Chat

Jeff Schroeder sits down with special guest Lance Bass for an exclusive live chat.

As a special treat, NSYNC band member and Big Brother fanatic Lance Bass answered fan questions, shared his thoughts on this season, and even allowed Schroeder to test his '90s trivia knowledge.

He's been a fan of the show since back in the day.

As a BB fan since Season 3, Lance admitted that the show is his summer indulgence, saying, “It’s like the first and the last day of summer.”

He's a huge fan of Whackstreet Boys.

"Johnny Mac had the best boy band material," Lance said, laughing. "I wish they would have used the name 'NStink."

This pop star is all about the twins.

Lance's favorite Houseguests to watch this season are the twins, Liz and Julia. "I really love Liz," he said. "I hope they make it in the house. I want to see the banter between them in the house... it's hilarious."

Lance thinks Vanessa has all the smarts.

If Lance had to align with anyone in the house right now, he would choose Vanessa. "She's a great player and is very smart," he said. "And... I wouldn't want her against me."

Though he thinks this poker player has a good chance of winning, he's also rooting for Johnny Mac and the twins to take it all the way.

He brings it back to those NSYNC days.

When asked which NSYNC bandmate he'd make a Final 2 alliance with, Lance said JC Chasez because of his quiet demeanor and trustworthiness.

Lance talks a little game.

Which former Houseguest best resembles how Lance would play Big Brother? Derrick.

Lance credits Derrick's quiet game and ability to keep information to himself as what helped him avoid becoming a target.

Lance's strategy in the house would also include trying to gain the trust of one HG in that first week, making a Final 2 deal with them, and then focusing on seperate halves of the house to keep tabs on both sides.

To win or not to win?

When Lance was asked if he'd rather win Big Brother and be hated by America or lose and be loved, he had a quick response ready; "I want to win. You play to win. I’m in it to win it."

It's the psychology Lance loves.

This superfan loves watching how the social dynamics of the house play out each season. "Everyone snaps in that three months," Lance said. "It's not if, it's when."

Jeff gave some BB swag to his special guest.

Lance didn't leave the chat empty-handed. Instead, Jeff handed over a special HoH bathrobe to the celeb and Lance wasted no time in trying it on!
