Being a twin definitely has its perks. For example, the girls get to take turns competing, while everyone else has to be on their A-game the entire time. However, the sisters quickly learned that nothing in the Big Brother house is as simple as it seems.

Let's just say Julia was not enthused that her sister volunteered to eat slop for the week.

Liz was visibly annoyed after Julia lost a puzzle-building HoH competition, and she let her sister know exactly how she felt. After throwing Becky under the bus—apparently, the twins couldn't believe that the Colorado girl could hold her own in a battle of wits—Liz told her twin that she needed to step up her game and keep them both off the block.

Feeling overwhelmed, Julia said her sister was putting far too much pressure on her. Later, Liz admitted that she, too, felt stressed because she's fighting for two.

While the sisters have had a few small squabbles, they both are dedicated to protecting each other. After all, they're one another's strongest allies.

With rumors flying around the house about a possible #TwinTwist, it was only a matter of time before Liz and Julia's relationship was exposed. Luckily for the sneaky sisters, their secret found its way to Vanessa, who proved to be a trustworthy ally. Vanessa then told Austin, Shelli, and Clay, and together, the group of chosen Houseguests formed the Sixth Sense alliance.

Excited about to share the news, Julia burst into the Diary Room and disclosed the week's thrilling events with Liz. Not only could the twins feel more comfortable being themselves around a select group of Houseguests, but they also now had a strong support system.

Of course, the good news came with a catch: Both twins would have to make changes in order to keep their secret underwraps. For starters, the two needed to make a conscious effort to more closely resemble each other. To make that happen, Julia said she needed to gain weight, while Liz should drop a few pounds.

With more Houseguests suspecting Liz was a twin, the sisters needed to get serious about their game to avoid being exposed.

Rumors flew around the house that one of the alleged sisters was nicer and more approachable than the other, forcing Liz to crack down on her sister in the Diary Room. Liz confronted Julia about her attitude during their swap, saying that she had to adopt a bubblier personality if the two were going to survive in the game. Of course, Julia immediately pouted and told her sister she refused "to act like a dumb blonde."

Chin up, buttercup. You're fighting for $500,000!

What a week! Not only did Liz win the HoH competition in Week 3, but she also found herself navigating her way through a showmance love-triangle. While she was excited to tell Julia all about their new spot on the HoH throne, Liz also knew she would have to tell her sister about deviating from the alliance.

After the two celebrated their HoH win, Liz filled her sister in on all of the dirty eviction details. While she had originally vowed to vote Jeff out of the house, Liz made a last-minute decision to vote for James instead. Her reasoning? Jeff had an obvious crush on the twins, which Liz wanted to leverage for protection. However, now that Jeff was booted from the game, Liz started to worry that the others in her alliance would find out she betrayed their trust.

Yikes, what a way to set up the week for Julia!

During the last twin swap, Liz told Julia that they would both need to flirt with Austin now that Jeff was out of the house... But neither of the twins could've guessed just how quickly things would escalate. Julia freaked out when Liz told her that the tattooed giant went in for a kiss during what she thought was a harmless tickle sesh.

As if having to worry about the smooch snatcher wasn't daunting enough, Liz dropped another bomb on her sister: Austin planned to reveal their secret to Jason.

While Julia expressed her doubts, Liz assured her that everything would be just fine and that the wrestler was simply looking out for both their best interests.

Despite Julia's concerns, Austin gave Jason incriminating details about the #TwinTwist, thinking the grocery check-out boy would keep the conversation private. What a huge mistake that was.

Word quickly got out that the wrestler didn't just disclose Julia's identity, but that he also told Jason the other Houseguests could target Julia, so long as he and Liz made it to the jury as a pair. Feeling betrayed and blindsided, members of the Sixth Sense alliance decided it was time for Judas to pack his bags and hit the road. But, there was a catch: Julia couldn't tell Liz about the plan to backdoor Austin.

Staying true to her word, Julia kept Liz in the dark during their next swap. Instead, she focused on preparing her sister for this week's BOB competition, which, thanks to Jackie, the twins were forced to participate in against Clay and Becky.

What do the twins have in store next?

What do the twins have in store next?

The moment the twins have been fighting for is finally here, but will it be everything they hoped it'd be?

So far, Sixth Sense has stood by the sisters through thick and thin, doing whatever was needed to ensure their safety. But with the Houseguests inching towards the halfway mark, we're left to wonder if the alliance will continue to run the show as a team—or if they'll start setting their sights on each other.

Will the twins stick together if things get messy, or will they begin to look out for their personal interests?

Only time will tell!
