ICYMI: Most Watercooler-Worthy Moments From BB17, Ep. 17

1. Jason gets blindsided.

1. Jason gets blindsided.

Despite being part of the newly formed Dark Moon alliance, who all appeared to agree on backdooring Austin this week, Jason found himself on the block—yet again.

Needless to say, the Boston bagger was gutted, but refused to throw in the towel. Instead, he vowed to fight his hardest to stay because "it's what a real superfan does."

Preach!
2. Sixth Sense gives Austin a second chance.

2. Sixth Sense gives Austin a second chance.

Just when we thought Vanessa & Co. totally turned their backs on one of their own, Sixth Sense found a way to collectively forgive Austin for his two-timing ways and nix their plans to backdoor the pro wrestler.

As HoH, Vanessa was forced to nominate another Houseguest, which ended up being Jason, and Austin exhaled a huge sigh of relief. Not only was he still in the game, but he'd now be able to continue courting his beloved Liz.

With the Dark Moon alliance setting, it appears that Sixth Sense is still alive and well... at least for now.

3. Meg feels foolish for trusting Vanessa, Shelli, and Clay.

3. Meg feels foolish for trusting Vanessa, Shelli, and Clay.

The thought of Jason leaving the house was almost too much for Meg to take, especially because she thought she was part of an alliance that seemed to be gunning for Austin.

Feeling blindsided herself, Meg went to the other members of Dark Moon and tried to put the pieces together. During a sit-down with Vanessa in the HoH suite, Meg admitted to feeling like "a very dumb girl" for trusting the Las Vegas DJ.

Vanessa, also feeling conflicted about nominating Jason, told Meg that Shelli and Clay were both on board with the new plan, which is when the New York City waitress realized the trio were actually part of an entirely different alliance and Dark Moon was really just a decoy.

Poor Meg.
4. Fans meet Johnny Mac's family!

4. Fans meet Johnny Mac's family!

While some of the Houseguests were focused on the impending eviction ceremony, fans were able to take a trip to Scranton to meet Johnny Mac's friends and family.

What did we learn from the visit? The Pennsylvania native is hugely missed by all the dentists and hygienists in his practice. Hell, even John's patients are rooting for his return; though, they hope he takes home the $500,000 prize before boarding a flight back.

Plus, that laugh definitely runs in the family, as heard when younger brother Jordan imitated the rock-star dentist conversing with his go-to fashion accessory, the POV gold medallion.
5. Jason leaves the house, which allows Julia to enter.

5. Jason leaves the house, which allows Julia to enter.

No matter how hard Jason tried to rally votes, he couldn't come up with the numbers to save himself from eviction, so he was promptly asked to leave the house. However, his loss was actually someone else's gain.

After safely making it through five rounds of eviction, the #TwinTwist was finally revealed to all the Houseguests and Julia was allowed to walk through the front door and start playing the game as herself.

6. The Houseguests were forced to survive the elements.

6. The Houseguests were forced to survive the elements.

As if this week's live eviction show wasn't thrilling enough, things got real when Julie Chen stomped our yard with some new twists.

First of all, from here on out, there'd be no more Battle of the Block. It's only one Head of Household per week.

Plus, BB17's inaugaral solo HoH comp was also the summer's first endurance challenge. For "On The Edge," Houseguests competed against each other to see who could stay on a cliff the longest, come hell or high water. Literally.

Who was the last one standing? You'll have to wait until Sunday's episode to find out!
