ICYMI Which Houseguests Will Make It To The Final Four?

Vanessa is caught in the middle of two alliances.

Vanessa is caught in the middle of two alliances.

After winning the "Under The Rainbow" HoH Competition, Vanessa found herself in a tough position. The poker-playing DJ, who had aligned herself with Austin and Liz, as well as Johnny Mac and Steve, now needed to make a major decision: Who would she stick by, and which alliance would she ultimately betray?
Paranoia strikes the BB17 house.

Paranoia strikes the BB17 house.

Unsure who she wanted to nominate for eviction, Vanessa appeared to allow her paranoia to take control. In an attempt to narrow down who was loyal to her and who wasn't, the Vegas babe started interrogating her fellow Houseguests to see whose stories lined up. One-by-one, she cornered her allies and grilled them on past deals, searching for someone who has betrayed her trust.

Which of her allies did she find guiltiest of all? Time would soon tell.

Steve worries Vanessa has been crunching the numbers in the wrong direction.

When Vanessa told Steve that she doesn't know who to trust, he was shocked. After all, he admitted that the whole point of his HoH reign last week was to "get the numbers" on the side of Vanessa, Johnny Mac, and himself. Not entirely convinced Steve would take her to the finals over Johnny Mac, Vanessa told the engineering student she was 60-percent certain she'd be targeting rock-star dentist this week.

While Vanessa told Steve she was still considering her options, she later struck a deal with Austin that seemed to illustrate the opposite. The card shark agreed not to nominate Liztin if the pro wrestler agreed to the following conditions:
  1. Austin would support her decision to target Johnny Mac.
  2. If he won POV this week, Austin wouldn't use it.
  3. Austin would do everything in his power to win HoH next week.
Johnny Mac doesn't remember showmancing Steve.

Johnny Mac doesn't remember showmancing Steve.

While laying out her options to Johnny Mac, Vanessa said she felt like a lone agent stuck between two showmances: The obvious romance between Liz and Austin, and the awkward friendship between Steve and Johnny Mac. However, during his Diary Room interview, Johnny Mac had a hard time remembering a time when entered into a showmance with the engineering student.

Knowing she's a tough competitor, Vanessa said she believed that, given the choice to take Steve or herself to the finals, John would choose the person who posed the lesser threat. (Hint: Steve.) Despite stating he would evict Steve before he'd turn on Vanessa, the paranoid poker player remained skeptical. Could Vanessa's HoH record ultimately affect her chances of making it to the end?

Frankie Grande comes to deliver Liz's #LuxuryReward.

After dropping a slew of eggs during the week's HoH competition, Liz decided to snag the Luxury Reward instead of trying to win the challenge. The reward included a trip outside the Big Brother house and news of the outing was delivered by none other than former BB16 Houseguest, Frankie Grande, who burst into the house like a glittery ball of sunshine.

Liz and a guest were off to experience a VIP trip to see Frankie's little sis, Ariana, perform a concert at Staples Center. With Austin's blessing, Liz decided to take Vanessa with her for a well-deserved girls' night out. However, before the ladies embarked on a pop-music adventure, the ladies were transformed by a special effects team so no one would recognize them at the show.

Wearing a blue-hued wig and rocker attire, Vanessa decided on "Roxie" as her alter ego. Liz, on the other hand, sported a red pixie cut and lots of temporary tattoos, which inspired her to use the name "Dakota." You go, girls!
Steve and Johnny Mac go on the block.

Steve and Johnny Mac go on the block.

While Johnny Mac had a pretty good idea that Vanessa would end up nominating him for eviction, Steve seemed relatively shocked by the unexpected move. His only solace appeared to be Vanessa's word that he wasn't her target this week. However, as the number of Houseguests dwindle, it's getting harder and harder to know which promises people intend to keep.

That said, will Vanessa regret not putting Liztin on the block? Who will be a replacement nominee if Steve or Johnny Mac win Power of Veto?
